简介:

       朱建国1982年于江苏理工学院获学士学位,1987年于上海理工大学获硕士学位,1995年于悉尼理工大学获博士学位,专业均为电气工程。
       1994年被任命为悉尼理工大学讲师,2004年晋升为教授,2017年被任命为悉尼理工大学特聘教授。在悉尼理工大学任多个职务,包括:电气、机械和机电系统学院院长、电机与电力电子中心主任。2018年,被任命为悉尼大学教授以及电气与信息工程学院院长。
       研究领域主要包括计算电磁学、材料磁特性的测量与建模、电机及驱动、电力电子、新能源系统及智能微网等。主持项目60余项,发表论文974篇,引用次数10782次,根据2019年4月谷歌学术搜索,h因子为50。在339篇期刊论文中,200余篇为各类IEEE Transactions期刊论文,50余篇为IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics或IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics期刊论文,2篇为IEEE Transactions最高等级论文。

 

Title of the Talk: A Systematic Optimization Approach to Application Oriented Design of Electromagnetic Devices and Systems

Biography:

Jian Guo Zhu (S’93–M’96–SM’03) received the B.E. degree in 1982 from Jiangsu Institute of Technology, Jiangsu, China, the M.E. degree in 1987 from Shanghai University of Technology, Shanghai, China, and the Ph.D. degree in 1995 from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Sydney, Australia, all in electrical engineering. 

He was appointed a lecturer at UTS in 1994 and promoted to full professor in 2004 and Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering in 2017. At UTS, he has held various leadership positions, including the Head of School for School of Electrical, Mechanical and Mechatronic Systems and Director for CEMPE (Centre of Electrical Machines and Power Electronics). In 2018, he joined the University of Sydney, Australia, as a full professor and Head of School for School of Electrical and Information Engineering.

His research interests include computational electromagnetics, measurement and modelling of magnetic properties of materials, electrical machines and drives, power electronics, renewable energy systems and smart micro grids. On these topics, he has conducted over 60 research projects, and based on his research findings he has published 974 publications. His publications have attracted 10,782 total citations with an h-index of 50 and i10-index of 280, according to Google Scholar on 7 April 2019. Among 339 journal papers, 200+ were published in various IEEE Transactions and 50+ of them in IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics or IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, two IEEE Transactions of top rankings.
